The LPC are planning on running another series of training events in February, March and April 2009 to provide training on:

1. Incontinence issues that can be supported in community pharmacy – this will also include information about what other services are available and what patient pathways are available for this condition locally
2.  Drug addiction and misuse - this is going to run by one of the DAAT team who has a lot of experience of working with people with addiction issues and promises to be very informative and lively! As this issue is do huge it will cover two evenings worth of training.
3. Update sessions from the PCT’s Smoking Cessation team to introduce new products and re-enliven pharmacists to supporting patients who want to stop smoking.

The evenings will be the same content but run across the three Local Associations and pharmacists are encouraged to try and attend one of each topic in any of the venues that suit your time and location.
