LPC self-assessment evaluation

LPC Self-Evaluation is a tool available to all LPCs via PharmOutcomes to assess LPC performance in the following areas:

  • Business and Strategic Planning
  • Governance
  • Management & Structure
  • Finance
  • Communication
  • Contract Development
  • Stakeholder relationships

When an LPC has completed the self-assessment on PharmOutcomes, the LPC can see their own data but not the data of any other named LPC. An LPC can benchmark themselves against other LPCs; an LPC will be able to see how others have completed the assessment but the LPCs won’t be identifiable. LPCs may also chose to let their contractors (and others) see their self-assessment, usually by posting the PDF version of their self-evaluation on the LPC website; you can find the most recent document (update 8th December 2020) linked below:

PSNC may look at the data so we can remind those LPCs that have not yet completed the assessment to do so. PSNC may also view the assessments for any LPCs that have a significant number of areas for concern; we do this so we can confidentially contact the LPC to ask if there is anything we can do to help.
